The day before the national competition, I paddled out early to catch a few waves and clear my head. The lineup had that quiet tension — everyone tuning in, feeling the energy of what was coming. The ocean was glassy, the light soft, and every wave felt like a calm before the storm. After my session, I grabbed the camera and filmed the others training, capturing the rhythm and excitement building for the big day ahead.

El día antes de la competencia nacional, me metí al agua temprano para surfear unas olas y despejar la mente. En el lineup se sentía una tensión tranquila — todos afinando su energía, preparándose para lo que venía. El mar estaba vidrioso, la luz suave, y cada ola se sentía como la calma antes de la tormenta. Después de mi sesión, tomé la cámara y empecé a grabar a los demás entrenando, capturando el ritmo y la emoción que iban creciendo antes del gran día.
