The day started before sunrise, paddling out at Long Beach as the first light broke behind Lovekin Rock. The sky lit up in soft golds and pinks while a few of us shared clean, glassy waves in that calm Pacific stillness. Every set felt alive — cold water, warm light, and the quiet rhythm of surfers moving together. After an incredible session, I made it back to shore grinning, salt still on my face. My friends had just pulled into the parking lot, boards ready and coffee in hand — so I grabbed my camera, and the morning flowed from surfing to filming, capturing that magic west coast glow.
