November 28 — Morning Session
The next morning came with a softened rhythm—cleaner lines, steadier winds, and that calm hush a winter pointbreak sometimes gives as a gift. Sun rays spilled out in every direction behind the headland, lighting up the spray without turning the moment into a spectacle. A few of the locals were out squeezing in a wave before work, unhurried and fully present, and I filmed them as they slid into those clean morning walls. It was simple, honest surf: smooth faces, easy pacing, and a quiet beauty that didn’t need to prove anything.
